ich wende mich in der stunde der dunkelheit mit dem problem,das ich meinen cd-key net registrieren kann.angeblich ist er schon in der datenbakn vorhanden,oder er ist falsch eingeben.ich habe es mit meinen alten probiert und mir sogar nen neuen gekauft,aber nix.ich habe mitler weile sogar 4-5 accounts,aber nix geht
ich wollte fragen,ob mir da jemand helfen könnte.
ein freund und ich gehen per hub ins netz,bei ihm gehts,nur bei mir net.

How do ?accounts? and ?CD keys? work in Steam?

When you sign up for Steam, you create a Steam account, which contains all of your Steam games. You can use your Steam account on any computer, so that you can play your games no matter whether you?re at home, at work, or on a friend?s computer. If you buy a new computer or need to re-format your old computer, you can keep using your old account?Steam will automatically download all of your information to the new computer. Although you can use your account at any computer, it can only be used at one computer at a time.



CD keys are special serial numbers printed on retail copies of Half-Life and other games in the Half-Life family. Before Steam, this key was used as an anti-piracy measure, and became the user?s unique ID code when playing the game online. With Steam, the CD key can be used as a ?Proof of Purchase? code that will grant your Steam account access to some of the available games through Steam.



Each CD key may only be used with one Steam account. Once used, it is permanently bound to that account, and may not be used with another. Deleting the account will not free the CD key to be used again. One Steam account, however, may have more than one CD key registered to it. For instance, if you have an account with a Counter-Strike CD key registered to it, and you purchase HL2 in the store, you may use the HL2 key on your Steam account to grant access to HL2.



When I try to enter my CD key, Steam says my key is already in use.

er sagtre doch er hat sich schon nen neuen gekauft...

dann hilft nur : steam deinstall. reg clean von steam scheiss. und neu installieren und mit dem "neu gekauften" key probieren, wenn nicht geht : geh zu deinem software dealler und schmeiss ihm den driss wieder hin

hm seit wann bracht man den für steam ein cd-key?
ich habs mir runtergeladen, installiert und es lief zwar wie üblich kake aber es lief und ich habs ffters neuinstalliert und neu runtergeladen hab noch nie cd-key gebraucht
oder meint ihr fürs cs:cz?

Ne Steam ... wandelt nen CD KEy in ne Steam ID um. Kann sei das der das bei dir autom .gemacht hat.

die meisten haben davon gar nichts mitbekommen, da sich steam den key bei installiertem cs aus der registry geholt hat. und wenn er einmal drin ist ist er drin, da braucht man nichts mehr machen. aber wenn man steam alleine installiert, also kein cs mit key auf platte hat, dann muss man den key eingeben (wenn man noch keinen gültigen account hat).

Ich habe ungefähr daas gleiche problem wie ---][m3rl!n][---
habe heute denn Source Multipack bekommen denn ich bei Amazon bestllt habe. Wollte mich nun anmelden und als ich nun denn CD-Key eingeben musste kam die Meldung das der Key schon benutzt wird.
ich habe das ganze natürlich noch ein paar mal versucht aber es lief immer wieder auf das gleche herraus. Habe darauf deinstalliert und neu installiert und nun kann ich einen account erstellen muss aber keinen CD-Key mehr eingeben aber ich kann dem (bzw. mehreren (mittler weile habe ich auch schon 4 Accounts))einloggen aber nicht die spiele, die zwar angezeigt werden aber allerdings erst gekauft werden müssen, spielen
